I carry a PocketPC phone, always on EMAIL, Voicemail, and Internet. I snap pix and upload them to textamerica on the go and get 200 page views and 12 comments before I even get home and hour later. I 'SSH' into the servers at work and move files around, updating the production web servers, from the top of the Guggenheim. I run a custom SMS app so I can more readily thread the conversations (its in beta, and the developer has disappeared). A 3rd party Instant Message client makes it look like I am at my desk no matter where I am. The java based GotoMyPC allows me to log on to my machine at work while taking my lunch break to walk 35 blocks for a quick meeting with a client. I wake with the son (actually, I wake after my wife takes the eldest off to school). I work till somewhere between 2 and 4am... I try to get by on green tea at least once a day, the rest of the day it is black coffee, luke warm so I can drink it without burning myself. My primary machine is a 17" sony laptop with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution (basically a 24" monitor crammed into 17" inches) . I run Apache, outlook, trillian, photoshop, Flash IDE and I might listen to some mp3s (more likely watching a vidcast). I work a full time job, own and manage a 3 family home, and run multiple, concurrent freelance projects.
The point is that I just gave up 2 hours of my life to watch Pauly Shore's "son in law".
That's how I roll...
(only slightly embellished, more accurately it has been time-shifted, compressed... its been Tivo'd)
